This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Transform the CMO’s brand strategy and positioning into actionable creative guidance across all channels.
• Establish visual direction for brand, performance, and web environments.
• Balance brand development (long-term equity) with performance-oriented outcomes (immediate conversion).
• Create creative testing frameworks that enhance measurable performance across paid, lifecycle, and on-site initiatives.
• Serve as the senior creative authority within the marketing organization.
• Own and uphold the Stonehenge Health brand identity across all customer-facing interactions.
• Develop and implement style guides, visual standards, and brand guidelines.
• Ensure creative consistency across paid media, organic social, email, packaging, and website.
• Collaborate with the CCO on joint approval processes for brand-facing creative work.
• Work alongside the VP of Brand on visual direction for organic content and influencer campaigns.
• Oversee the Performance Design Manager and their team to produce high-volume advertising and lifecycle creative.
• Maintain a rhythm of testing and iteration cycles informed by performance data.
• Ensure performance creative aligns with channel-specific KPIs while preserving brand consistency.
• Collaborate with the VP of Performance Marketing and the Director of Lifecycle on creative needs and feedback processes.
• Supervise the design team in creating landing pages, PDPs, site UX, and conversion-focused projects.
• Partner with the Head of CRO on the on-site testing roadmap and design implementation.
• Collaborate with the Head of Ecommerce on site merchandising and storefront design.
• Oversee the Creative Operations Manager in managing end-to-end pre and post-production for photo and video assets.
• Develop SLA frameworks and intake processes for creative requests across all channels.
• Manage creative team capacity in response to the demand from brand, performance, and ecommerce.
• Scale internal video and post-production capabilities to lessen reliance on external partners.
• Supervise the medical and expert advisory board program for content credibility, brand placements, and earned media opportunities.
• Lead a creative team of approximately 8-10 across brand, performance, web, and operations sub-functions.
• Direct reports include the Senior Creative Lead, Performance Design Manager, Creative Operations Manager, and design Independent Contributors (ICs) across Brand/Core and Web/E-commerce sub-teams.
• Recruit and onboard additional creative team members as the function expands.
• Establish performance standards, KPIs, and development plans.
• Cultivate a culture of creative excellence, rigorous thinking, and high-output iteration.
• Report to the CMO and function as the centralized creative authority across all channels.
• Collaborate with the Copy Director, Director of Product Marketing, Consumer Insights Lead, VP of Brand, and Head of Content on cross-functional initiatives that enhance creative performance.
• Partner with the VP of Performance Marketing, Director of Lifecycle, Head of CRO, and Head of Ecommerce to support creative growth and conversion.
• Coordinate with the CCO on joint approval of brand-facing creative projects.
• 10+ years in creative leadership positions at DTC consumer brands, including 5+ years at Director level or higher.
• Experience building and leading centralized creative teams of 8+ across various sub-functions (brand, performance, web).
• Strong expertise in both brand-building and performance-focused creative, with a portfolio that reflects this dual capability.
• Practical experience in performance creative across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, native, and email/SMS.
• Solid understanding of testing and iteration cycles in direct response and performance environments.
• Proven track record of delivering high-volume creative output without compromising quality.
• Experience working with performance marketing, CRO, and ecommerce functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience in the health, wellness, beauty, or consumables industries.
• Proficient with standard creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and DTC platforms (Klaviyo, Shopify, or similar).
• Remote-first mindset with the ability to effectively lead distributed teams; located within driving distance of Los Angeles, CA, preferred.
• Competitive salary: $175,000 - $200,000 (commensurate with experience).
