This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Assist in the creation and oversight of cost plans and comprehensive CSA estimates from the initial concept phase through to detailed design.

• Deliver program-wide estimating across various projects and campuses.

• Provide updates on milestone costs and articulate assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, risks, and opportunities.

• Oversee quantity takeoffs and cost evaluations for intricate, multi-package CSA scopes.

• Coordinate estimating efforts among different teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity.

• Analyze contractor pricing, conduct comparative assessments, and prepare recommendations.

• Propel benchmarking and cost modeling to support life-cycle cost evaluations.

• Lead value engineering initiatives and devise cost and schedule trade-off options.

• Assist in procurement and preconstruction processes, including prequalification and bid list creation.

• Evaluate design development and program modifications, providing timely updates on estimates.

• Guide and mentor estimating personnel, contributing to team growth and the development of training resources.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field in construction.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in construction estimating or cost management for large-scale capital projects.

• Experience in data center or mission-critical construction is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conceptual estimating, quantity takeoff, and cost fundamentals across CSA scopes.

• Strong understanding of construction procurement strategies and commercial contract frameworks.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills suitable for client interactions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CostX is highly desirable.
