This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Deliver both on-demand and scheduled remote technical support services for Key Accounts customers.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and equipment startup support for remote Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Perform remote inspections and assessments of BAS, HVAC, and chiller systems, providing comprehensive reports on system performance and issue identification.
• Engage in communication via telephone, instant messaging, and email with onsite Trane and third-party technicians, customers, customer representatives, and Trane internal teams.
• Take part in technical and strategic account reviews with internal stakeholders.
• Determine necessary parts for repairs and collaborate with relevant teams for procurement.
• Strong understanding and hands-on service or installation experience with Trane HVAC systems and advanced Trane BAS controls.
• Competence in executing remote BAS diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance.
• Mastery of TGE, TGP, and TGP2 capabilities and application guides.
• Advanced knowledge of systems and proficiency in utilizing digital tools.
• Familiarity with networking, communication protocols, security, and fundamental aspects of Ensemble, SQL Database, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a queue.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying information to individuals with varying levels of control and mechanical expertise.
• Strong adherence to processes and documentation skills necessary for completing job paperwork.
• Ability to thrive in a remote team environment while offering coaching and support to others.
• A growth mindset aimed at keeping up-to-date with new products and recommending system enhancements.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends as needed.
