This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Execute contract management responsibilities for medium complexity projects as assigned.
• Act as the primary contract management contact for strategic accounts as designated.
• Independently create and review Agreements, including Master Services Agreements.
• Lead negotiations for all assigned Agreements with moderate support from management.
• Acquire and apply a solid understanding of various Fortrea business units to ensure appropriate contract terms for all study types.
• Develop and negotiate medium complexity Change Orders for assigned projects with management assistance.
• Produce cash flow analyses and payment schedules.
• Follow up on unresolved contract issues to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Contract Analysts, Client Services, Finance, Pricing, and Sales.
• Assist management and subject matter experts in maintaining cohesive contract processes and client relationships.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the global delivery of contracts.
• Comply with Contract Management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations from a contracting standpoint.
• Accurately enter data into SFDC, Apttus, CMS, and/or other tools necessary for reporting.
• Provide timely updates on all outstanding contractual documents to management as needed.
• BA or BS in business or life sciences (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred 4 years in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, including a minimum of 2 years in contract management (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability to plan, manage multiple tasks, and set priorities.
• Demonstrated skills in teamwork, communication, and organization.
• Proficient in Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be persistent while maintaining professionalism.
• Established capability to work independently.
• Experience and comfort in a high-volume, fast-paced environment are essential.
• Competence in negotiation.
• Flexibility to participate in meetings across different time zones outside of core working hours.
• Possibility of working extended hours to meet client deliverable deadlines.
• May be required to attend off-site client meetings as directed by management.
