Content Creator, Physical Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Create compelling educational content, including video scripts, assessments, and textual lessons.

• Transform curriculum documents into clear and practical course and lesson plans that facilitate teacher support and enhance student success.

• Utilize your VCE subject expertise to simplify complex syllabus points, producing content that is accessible and tailored to students.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of subject content and evidence-based teaching strategies to keep your expertise sharp.

• Adhere to a comprehensive style guide to ensure that all content is consistent and appropriate for our audience.

• Manage multiple projects effectively, demonstrating strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.

• Collaborate closely with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and others to create content that is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.

• Contribute ideas and assist in enhancing our processes through feedback, workshops, and team discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of secondary school physical education (VCE experience is a must).

• Strong understanding of effective content delivery that resonates with students.

• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, allowing you to clarify complex concepts.

• A genuine enthusiasm for education and learning design.

• Ability to collaborate with others and articulate your thoughts clearly.

• Proficiency in project management tools, or willingness to learn them.

• Proven success in the VCE curriculum, either as a teacher or a student.

• Teaching or tutoring experience is advantageous.

• An interest in learning design is beneficial, though training will be provided for those new to the field.
