This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Load Management: Organize, schedule, and oversee truck movements to guarantee timely pickups and deliveries at the port.
• Real-Time Tracking: Oversee driver performance using GPS and ELD systems; proactively tackle delays due to traffic, weather conditions, or port congestion.
• Communication Hub: Serve as the main contact for drivers, brokers, and customers, handling a high volume of calls and emails with professionalism.
• Problem Solving: Swiftly address on-site issues such as port delays or mechanical difficulties with minimal oversight.
• Documentation: Ensure precise record-keeping in TMS platforms, manage Bills of Lading (BOLs), and confirm compliance of all port documentation.
• Resource Optimization: Minimize deadhead miles and enhance Hours of Service (HOS) to boost efficiency and profitability.
• Bilingual: Proficient in both English and Spanish (mandatory).
• Relevant Experience: Experience in trucking dispatch, port logistics, or high-volume coordination is highly desirable.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using various platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, TMS, etc.).
• Proactive Mindset: Self-starter who independently addresses problems and anticipates operational demands.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
