Construction Security Surveillance Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement Construction Security Surveillance (CSS) training programs

• Educate students on CSS concepts, policies, and procedures in alignment with U.S. Department of State regulations

• Facilitate classroom lectures, hands-on exercises, and scenario-driven training

• Assess student performance through written tests and practical evaluations

• Keep precise training records and course documentation

• Revise course materials to incorporate updates in government policies, standards, and industry best practices

• Guide and mentor students to ensure they fulfill qualification requirements

• Maintain a safe, professional, and effective educational environment

• Collaborate with company leadership on curriculum development and training schedules

• Support the creation of new training programs and instructional resources as necessary

• Conduct class sessions 4 to 6 times annually

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience in Construction Security Surveillance, construction security, physical security, law enforcement, military, or a related security field

• Experience with U.S. Department of State, Department of Defense, or other U.S. Government security programs is preferred

• Prior experience as an instructor or in military training is highly desired

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong capabilities in presentation and classroom management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Willingness to travel as necessary

• Certified instructor or adult learning certification is preferred

• Experience in developing training curricula is preferred

• Background in overseas security or contingency operations is preferred

• Active or previously held U.S. Government security clearance is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Education, or a related field is preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods while teaching

• Capability to demonstrate field exercises in outdoor settings

• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds
