This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Accountable for comprehensive support of the regulatory change management process.

• Observing the regulatory environment for new and amended laws.

• Evaluating legislation and conveying regulatory updates to relevant departments within the organization.

• Monitoring evidence of compliance implementation related to communicated regulations.

• Aiding in compliance investigations and assessments.

• Keeping track of all pertinent documentation.

• Sustaining and utilizing knowledge of laws and regulatory changes pertinent to the industry and the organization.

• Collaborating with business relationship managers and vendors to provide training and education.

• Executing monitoring, auditing, and surveillance of operational activities.

• Addressing compliance-related inquiries, complaints, and incidents.

• Creating corrective action plans in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Overseeing timelines and deliverables.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, legal, compliance, insurance government programs, or related fields.

• Capability to assess compliance issues with some supervisory guidance.

• Engages with state insurance departments and other regulatory bodies as necessary.

• Aids in the documentation of procedural manuals and processes; identifies areas for process improvement.

• Offers support and expertise on various projects.

• Recognizes issues that may require escalation within the department.

• Produces thorough and detail-oriented work of high quality and effectively integrates feedback.
