• Collaborate closely with the Head of AML Compliance Solutions to enhance the function and establish more organized, repeatable methods for supporting clients and internal teams.
• Act as a compliance subject matter expert for regulated clients, assisting account teams and addressing AML and compliance-related product inquiries.
• Develop and maintain materials for clients and internal use, including process documentation, implementation guidelines, policy drafts, and other resources that foster consistency and scalability.
• Assist in large client migration and rule translation initiatives, including aiding clients in mapping workflows and procedures from legacy vendors to Sardine.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Model teams to test, refine, and broaden compliance-related product functionalities, including AI-driven tools and agents.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to review and contribute to compliance-centric content such as blogs, webpages, and customer education materials.
• Contribute to Sardine’s internal enterprise risk management program by helping to update policies, coordinating testing, facilitating regulatory change management, and advancing the maturity of internal programs.
• Over 5 years of direct experience in AML operations, compliance operations, or a closely related role within a bank, fintech, or other regulated setting.
• Hands-on experience with operational AML workflows such as transaction monitoring, alert review, KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, investigations, or suspicious activity reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory and operational mandates that govern AML compliance programs.
• Capability to convert compliance requirements and operational challenges into clear documentation, scalable processes, and actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven project management and execution abilities, with the capacity to advance multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in AI-driven methodologies and enthusiasm for leveraging automation and emerging tools to refine compliance workflows and enhance team effectiveness.
