Compliance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with compliance monitoring, the implementation of policies, and regulatory reporting.

• Conduct risk assessments, coordinate internal audits, and manage compliance training initiatives.

• Engage in effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders across various time zones.

• Ensure precise documentation of compliance activities, audit results, and regulatory submissions.

• Utilize relevant tools such as compliance management software, GRC platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Provide support to the broader team regarding data protection, AML, and FCA or other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance the compliance framework and mitigate regulatory risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a comparable field.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple compliance tasks concurrently.

• Proficient in compliance management tools and knowledgeable about UK regulatory frameworks.

• Capability to work independently and effectively manage your own schedule.

• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Experience with UK-based regulatory environments or employers is a plus.

• Must possess a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
