Compliance Geofencing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Perform IP geolocation investigations utilizing both internal and external data sources, evaluating potential circumvention risks and documenting results in line with audit and compliance standards.

• Raise complex or high-risk cases with a clear rationale and supporting analysis provided.

• Uphold high levels of quality and accuracy by ensuring that all case decisions, supporting evidence, and actions are properly recorded in the case management system.

• Participate in ongoing governance, quality assurance, and operational enhancement initiatives aimed at bolstering the efficacy of geofencing controls and processes.

• Assist in remediation efforts, control assessments, and investigations related to geofencing controls and restricted-location risks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Operations, Product, and Business teams to facilitate issue resolution and improve controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of pertinent experience in financial crime or sanctions compliance.

• Solid understanding of financial crime compliance, encompassing relevant sanctions risks, controls, regulatory mandates, and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with banking operations, processes, procedures, and systems.

• Experience in the startup or fintech sector is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree.

• ACAMS or ACFCS certification is a plus.

• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities, with a proven track record in risk-based decision-making and the ability to evaluate context instead of applying blanket rules.

• Clear and professional written communication skills, with the capability to document complex case findings precisely and succinctly.

• Ability to manage competing priorities independently and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

• Confident, results-oriented, and proactive in identifying ambiguities, process gaps, and areas for improvement.
