• Ensure accurate METRC hierarchies are maintained, including package tags, item categories, strain entries, lab result associations, and waste/destruction entries.
• Process completed transfers, receipts, adjustments, and destruction events in METRC within mandated state timeframes.

• Implement DCC (CA), CCB (NV), and OCM (NY) distributor regulations in live operational scenarios, including manifest rules, transfer windows, transportation requirements, labeling, and storage standards.
• Maintain a compliance calendar that tracks state license renewals, regulatory reporting deadlines, and facility-level obligations; ensure timely execution of renewals and filings.

• Serve as the main operational contact for routine communications with state regulators at the license/facility level.
• Oversee the compliance vetting process for incoming brands and retailers: verify active state licenses, collect COAs, review product manifests, and highlight non-compliant items before they enter the Nabis network.

• Maintain a real-time license database for all active partners with automated renewal alerts; actively follow up on expiring licenses.

• Confirm that all product labeling, packaging, and COA standards are fulfilled prior to order fulfillment in each state.
• Manage COA tracking across all inventory batches; coordinate holds, rejections, and remediation efforts with brands and warehouse staff.
• Organize state-mandated compliance testing with third-party labs and ensure results are accurately linked with METRC packages.

• Direct Nabis’ response to both scheduled and unannounced state inspections across all facilities; serve as the on-site/virtual point of contact for regulators during visits.
• Ensure each facility is always ready for inspection: maintain METRC synchronization, keep records up-to-date, ensure proper labeling, and comply with storage regulations.
• Document findings from every inspection and follow through on corrective actions to resolution.

• Extensive, hands-on proficiency with METRC is essential; you must have experience running manifests, reconciling packages, and correcting errors in a production environment.

• Proven experience in executing state license renewals, regulatory filings, and facility-level reporting.
• Background in supporting or leading state regulatory inspections at licensed facilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, capable of managing numerous concurrent deadlines and outstanding tasks without losing track.
