This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee and prioritize a caseload while ensuring compliance with NRMP policy timelines.
• Communicate with all stakeholders and gather necessary documentation for files; proactively identify and address gaps, following up with parties to request additional information.
• Investigate and gather feedback on partner organizations' policies to enhance understanding and processing of cases.
• Collaborate with the Director to resolve case issues, ensuring that documentation is comprehensive and ready for review by executive leadership.
• Generate reports and documents, ensuring precise preparation of case files for panel evaluation.
• Send reports to external parties.
• Maintain and/or update online systems to guarantee accurate tracking of case logs.
• Handle intake forms and input case data into the electronic case management system in line with policy requirements.
• Ensure an accurate case log through timely uploads of transmittals, constituent statements, and support documents as they arrive.
• Revise records in the NRMP’s matching software system to accurately depict case activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for staff, Match participants, stakeholders, and other interested individuals, addressing inquiries related to policy interpretation and compliance protocols.
• Assist in the annual review of Match Participation Agreements, policies, and Codes of Conduct.
• Collaborate with Sr Compliance Analyst(s) on special projects as assigned, particularly initiatives aimed at enhancing policy awareness and understanding among staff and Match constituents.
• Support the Director in the annual review, revision, and/or creation of departmental process documentation and flowcharts.
• Assist the Operations team during peak times and as needed.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a policy, social science, or health-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of experience in a compliance role and/or in interpreting policy and ensuring regulatory compliance, ideally within a medical or medical education context.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills; demonstrated experience in report writing.
• Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
• Proven capability to protect sensitive and often confidential information.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough in work processes.
• Ability to solve problems using logic and trial and error; eagerness to learn new software and applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
