This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Independently compose and assess responses to intricate complaints from regulatory bodies and clients for Core Bank and CCBX fintech partners.
• Ensure that complaint responses adhere to relevant requirements and pinpoint potential regulatory risks.
• Develop recommendations and escalate issues internally when needed.
• Provide an independent and objective review of risk management practices.
• Oversee case queues, monitor aged complaints, and guarantee SLA compliance through data-driven interventions.
• Review open complaints daily to ensure responses are submitted before regulatory deadlines.
• Follow internal processes, procedures, and job aids to ensure accurate and consistent resolution of complaints.
• Assist external regulators and internal audit teams with requests, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Implement consumer protection regulations, including Reg E, Truth in Savings Act, UDAAP, FACTA, Reg Z, Reg B, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
• Over 3 years of pertinent experience in banking compliance, regulatory risk, or handling fintech-related complaints.
• More than 2 years of experience in complaint management.
• Strong knowledge of consumer financial protection laws and regulatory frameworks within banking and fintech.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex spreadsheets.
• Intermediate skills in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to evaluate risks and propose corrective measures.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize independent judgment and conduct complex analytical work autonomously.
• Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, self-starting attitude, excellent organizational skills, and keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective collaboration across Compliance, Risk, and Customer Support teams.
• Experience with Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) or fintech compliance is preferred.
• Must be able to work without employment sponsorship.
