Coding Auditor, Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with both retrospective and concurrent coding for PACE (All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) Dual participants.

• Perform pre-visit chart preparations and conduct post-visit chart reviews.

• Manage audits and engage in provider education programs to ensure adherence to CMS risk adjustments diagnosis coding guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with the Coding Supervisor to identify opportunities for HCC coding education.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associates Degree is preferred; however, three (3) years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• A minimum of four (4) years of related experience or a combination of healthcare-related education and experience in coding and auditing is required.

• At least two (2) years of Risk Adjustment (HCC) coding experience within a managed care setting is necessary.

• Current credentials such as CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, CPMA, or CRC are required.

• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards is essential.

• Experience with the correct application of M.E.A.T. concepts is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
