Cloud Solutions Architect – Presales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain insights into business requirements and design effective solutions.

• Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of Cloud architecture, including its capabilities and limitations.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and comply with NRI best practices and standards.

• Lead reviews of technical designs and implementations.

• Create technical specifications and ensure alignment among development teams with these specifications.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and project management.

• Prepare technical proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and deliver presentations.

• Develop precise pricing models and Statements of Work (SOWs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years in IT, with expertise in cloud migration and architecture, including designing, implementing, and managing cloud computing strategies such as cloud adoption plans and application design & monitoring.

• Experience in Pre-Sales and crafting proposals or SOWs for solutions utilizing best practices.

• Proven track record of building secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure, serving as a liaison between technical, security, and business stakeholders.

• Key skills should include proficiency in Azure, AWS, or OCI, DevOps tools, and security practices.

• In-depth knowledge of public/hybrid clouds, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Platform, and Oracle Cloud is an advantage.

• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking, and virtualization.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, along with programming languages such as Python, Bash, and C#.

• Strong understanding of cloud security protocols and compliance measures.

• Cloud certifications are highly regarded, such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• The role will entail producing comprehensive solutions, including but not limited to High-Level Design, Solution Briefs, Statements of Work, Service Design, and Bills of Materials.

• Must possess strong documentation skills and a solid understanding of architecture design content and principles.

• Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey ideas and messages to diverse audiences.
