Cloud Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discussions and reviews regarding solution architecture.

• Establish solutions that are in line with scalability, resilience, security, and business objectives.

• Develop technical diagrams (C4, workflows, integrations, messaging).

• Construct functional POCs to assess technologies.

• Define and advocate for standards such as Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Assist teams in adopting and utilizing Azure services.

• Serve as a subject-matter expert in event streaming technologies (Kafka / Event Hub).

• Specify MongoDB usage patterns for distributed systems.

• Apply resilience patterns, including Circuit Breaker, Retry, Bulkhead, and Timeout.

• Write code primarily in Java (17/21+).

• Engage in Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Conduct impactful code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Tech Lead.

• In-depth knowledge of Java 11+ (preferably versions 17/21).

• Proficiency with Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data, Security).

• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture.

• Experience with Clean Architecture.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with Apache Kafka.

• Familiarity with Azure Event Hub.

• Experience with MongoDB in distributed environments.

• Understanding of Azure Blob Storage.

• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.

• Strong grasp of resilience patterns.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD practices.

• Capability to build POCs and articulate technical choices.

• Familiarity with Angular is a plus.

• Possession of Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400) is a plus.

• Experience with Dynatrace (observability) is a plus.

• Understanding of GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) is a plus.

• Experience with Event Storming is a plus.

• Knowledge of API Gateway, OpenAPI, and AsyncAPI is a plus.
