Cloud Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Identify and request requirements from the client for timely deployment of products.

• Deploy the elements that comprise the solutions/products from Whitestack.

• Conduct testing of components in virtualized environments.

• Perform validation tests and troubleshooting post-deployment.

• Collaborate on GitOps workflow with a focus on automation and best engineering practices.

• Prepare and update documentation related to the project's infrastructure.

• Analyze and resolve potential issues that may arise during the deployment of components.

• Channel client requests regarding product functionalities to the appropriate internal areas.

• Contribute to product improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of proven experience in Cloud Engineering.

• Experience in deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of open-source cloud technologies (OpenStack, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Experience in network configuration in Linux (Interfaces/VLAN, IPTables, routing, bonding, etc.).

• Preferable experience working with or for telecommunications operators.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

• Specific Knowledge / Technical Requirements:

• Advanced Kubernetes

• Advanced Ansible

• Advanced Virtualization

• Intermediate Docker

• Intermediate Networking

• Intermediate Linux

• Experience with Shell scripting (Bash).

• Intermediate Terraform

• Intermediate Git

• Intermediate English (for reading/writing technical documentation).
