Cloud Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Identify and request the necessary requirements from clients for the timely deployment of products.

• Deploy the elements that comprise Whitestack's solutions/products.

• Conduct testing of components in virtualized environments.

• Perform validation tests and troubleshooting after deployment.

• Collaborate on GitOps workflows, focusing on automation and best engineering practices.

• Develop and update documentation related to the project's infrastructure.

• Analyze and resolve potential issues that may arise during the deployment of components.

• Channel client requests regarding product functionalities to the appropriate internal departments.

• Contribute to product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 2 years of proven experience in Cloud Engineering.

• Experience in the deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of open-source cloud technologies (OpenStack, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Experience in network configuration on Linux (Interfaces/VLAN, IPTables, routing, bonding, etc.).

• Preferred experience working with or for telecommunications operators.

• Educational background in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.

• Intermediate to advanced Linux skills: basic commands, file manipulation, networking, etc.

• Experience with Shell scripting (Bash).

• Intermediate to advanced expertise in Kubernetes.

• Experience with Docker / Containerd.

• Intermediate to advanced networking skills (Interfaces/VLAN, IPTables, routing, bonding, etc.).

• Virtualization experience with KVM, OpenStack, or other virtualization tools.

• Intermediate knowledge of Ansible.

• Intermediate knowledge of Terraform.

• Intermediate knowledge of Git.

• Intermediate English proficiency (for reading and writing technical documentation).
