Cloud and DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, operation, and assurance of our distributed event platform and service gateway.

• Maintenance of real-time data flows and connectivity for our cloud applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience with Amazon Web Services, particularly in deploying and managing containers using Amazon EKS.

• Advanced proficiency in Apache Kafka and its associated components, including Kafka Connect, Kafka REST Proxy, Kafka Schema Registry, and ksqlDB.

• Experience in managing clusters, configuring data retention and compaction, traffic quotas, and replication using Mirrormaker.

• Administration of Kong API Gateway (including Kong Ingress-Controller and Konnect) in high availability and multi-region environments.

• Experience in designing APIs according to industry standards and using tools like SwaggerHub.

• Knowledge of load balancing strategies and service meshes.

• Implementation of security policies for APIs, management of rate limiting, and deployment of web application firewall (WAF) solutions.

• Comprehensive monitoring experience using Grafana, Loki, and Opensearch, as well as implementing auto-scaling for consumers using Keda and Burrow.
