Clinical Review Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assess admissions pre-screens to evaluate the clinical and medical suitability for treatment.

• Verify that all clinical and medical screening standards are satisfied before granting admission approval.

• Obtain medical consent for potential clients with existing medical issues; secure clinical approval for those with recognized psychiatric requirements.

• Collaborate with clinical and medical leadership at the site to facilitate admission decisions and ensure patient safety.

• Incorporate clinical knowledge within the multidisciplinary admissions team to enhance quality care.

• Conduct timely and precise tracking and documentation of clinical evaluations in Salesforce.

• Uphold strict confidentiality of all client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current clinical licensure — RN or LPN.

• Capability to independently evaluate medical and psychiatric conditions and provide sound clinical recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; maintain professionalism and composure in clinical and cross-functional environments.

• Availability for evening and weekend shifts as required.

• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to all HIPAA and regulatory standards.

• Background in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or psychiatric environments (Preferred).

• Knowledge of admissions or utilization review procedures (Preferred).

• Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM documentation systems (Preferred).
