This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Traveling across Germany to visit study sites for conducting qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits in accordance with the approved protocol.
• Engaging in communication with medical site personnel, including coordinators, clinical research physicians, and their respective staff.
• Ensuring the verification of adequate investigator qualifications, training, and resources, which encompasses facilities, laboratories, equipment, and personnel.
• Conducting verification of medical records and research source documentation against case report form data, which includes notifying site staff of any data entry errors, ensuring adherence to good documentation practices, and appropriately communicating protocol deviations in line with SOPs, GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Confirming that the investigator is enrolling only eligible participants.
• Reviewing regulatory documents.
• Managing accountability and inventory for medical devices and/or investigational products/drugs.
• Reviewing and verifying adverse events, serious adverse events, concomitant medications, and related illnesses to ensure accurate data reporting as per the protocol.
• Evaluating the clinical research site’s success in patient recruitment and retention, and providing suggestions for enhancements.
• Completing monitoring reports and follow-up letters, which encompass summaries of key findings, deviations, deficiencies, and recommended actions to ensure compliance.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health or science-related discipline is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% to locations in the DACH region; some visits may occur remotely.
• Proficient in Microsoft® Office applications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate efficient time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English are required.
