This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for coordinating and delivering essential educational programs for new hires as well as existing clinical staff.
• Engages actively in program-wide EMS initiatives.
• Conducts audits and verifies the completion and documentation of employee educational requirements (some travel may be necessary).
• Plays an active role in the evaluation and development of web-based courses.
• Supports management in interviewing and assessing potential new hires.
• Collaborates closely with Program Medical Director(s) and the CQI Committee for participation in case review sessions and ad hoc educational presentations as required.
• Maintains the necessary qualifications for active flight status and may occasionally serve as a primary flight crew member and/or third-person observer when applicable.
• Works in partnership with the program director and operations managers to assist with outreach education as opportunities arise.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of flight experience, with 3 years preferred, along with current licensure (RN, EMT-P, or RRT).
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Current specialty certification is preferred (CFRN, FPC, RRT); otherwise, certification must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Experience in adult education is preferred, particularly as a training preceptor and certified instructor in ITLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Leadership abilities and the capacity to connect with clinical EMS staff are crucial.
• Proficiency in computer software and general computer literacy is required.
