Clinical Admissions Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Exhibit friendly and proficient communication skills to establish rapport with clients and referral sources.

• Provide comprehensive programming information in a supportive manner to assist clients in accessing care.

• Conduct virtual biopsychosocial assessments across a diverse age range, including children, teens, young adults, and adults facing various mental health challenges.

• Assess the suitability and alignment of clients for the virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care.

• Formulate provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-V criteria.

• Record client information in compliance with regulatory standards through electronic medical records.

• Designate treatment team members and group schedules while keeping staff informed of new admissions.

• Collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams to facilitate the intake process.

• Work together with referral sources such as hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers during the admission process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in working with a broad age spectrum, including children, teens, young adults, and adults is preferred.

• Prior experience in conducting behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred.

• Independent licensure in a mental health discipline is required.

• While an independent license is preferred, we are willing to support associate-level clinicians who are motivated to grow and work towards full licensure.
