Clinical Admissions Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Exhibit strong and personable communication abilities to build rapport with clients and referral sources.

• Provide programming details in a comprehensive and supportive manner to assist clients in accessing care.

• Conduct virtual biopsychosocial assessments across a diverse age range, including children, teenagers, young adults, and adults with various mental health issues.

• Assess the suitability and appropriateness for the virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care.

• Formulate provisional mental health diagnoses based on DSM-V criteria.

• Record client information in compliance with regulatory standards using electronic medical records.

• Designate treatment team members and group schedules while informing staff of new admissions.

• Collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams to facilitate intake.

• Work in partnership with referral sources such as hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers upon admission.

• Availability needed for the following shifts to accommodate client schedules:

• Mornings and Afternoons - Must be available from 11am to 7pm MT.

• Afternoons and Evenings - Must be available from 12pm to 8pm MT.

• Weekends are encouraged.

• Alternative availability will be considered on an individual basis.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess native or bilingual proficiency in English.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Must have access to reliable technology resources to provide uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and quality of care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience working with a diverse age range, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.

• Preferred experience in conducting behavioral health assessments and admissions.

• An independent license in a mental health field is required.

• While an independent license is preferred, we are open to working with associate-level clinicians who are eager to develop and work towards full licensure.
