This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Lead the development of services and technologies business to achieve or surpass quarterly and annual quota targets in collaboration with account and domain teams.
• Adhere to Optiv's Standardized Sales Operating Procedures to ensure consistent success.
• Acquire and maintain expertise in clients’ security environments, business operations, security requirements, and risk tolerance.
• Recognize security issues and relate them to Optiv’s strategic solutions and comprehensive cybersecurity programs.
• Discover cross-sell and upsell opportunities within client accounts and Optiv partner connections.
• Qualify leads and collaborate with internal colleagues on the scope, proposal management, and closing processes.
• Engage in sales initiatives across Optiv’s full range of offerings.
• Clearly convey how Optiv’s technology and service portfolio addresses the needs of client stakeholders at the leadership level.
• Keep updated on industry trends, news, and the security landscape to provide thought leadership, support, analysis, and guidance.
• Work with service delivery to offer domain specialty materials and a cohesive, comprehensive approach.
• Collaborate with client personas to formulate security strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives, budgets, and ROI metrics.
• Cultivate advisory relationships with key client stakeholders through thought leadership, support, information, and guidance.
• Maintain productive relationships with relevant Optiv technology partners.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned or required.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in an information security role, ideally as a consulting advisor, architect, or cybersecurity leader.
• Highly driven self-starter who thrives without day-to-day oversight.
• Capability to function in a highly adaptable and agile team setting with effective communication.
• Comprehensive understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and protective measures.
• Strong business and technical insight with the ability to lead discussions focused on technology.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with clients, including whiteboard sessions and various presentation formats.
• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing statements of work, quotes, and client deliverables.
• Extensive security-related knowledge and a commitment to continuously expanding expertise across portfolio domains.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or C-CISO.
• Ability to work both in-person and remotely with distributed teams in a decentralized setting.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region or accounts up to 40% of the time.
