This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare mortgage insurance claims for properties acquired by all agencies or investors.

• Complete reconciliation of all advances that are to be included in the claim.

• Validate all necessary supporting documents required for the claim.

• Maintain organized records and reports for management concerning daily production.

• Conduct internal quality control audits within the department related to post-claim activities.

• Identify current trends that suggest additional training measures for Supervisors.

• Execute an internal quality assurance audit of the department prior to claim submission.

• Assist in updating relevant workstations for claim payments.

• Support post-claim agency/client requests.

• Follow up and track the payment status of filed claims.

• Perform miscellaneous research to facilitate daily tasks.

• Conduct research for post-claim activities, including inquiries about missing documents and agency queries.

• Complete tasks in the queue and accurately record them in the internal system.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.

• 4 - 5 years of experience in default mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance claims, and/or the legal field.

• Strong understanding of accepted business practices within the mortgage industry and familiarity with the claims process.

• In-depth knowledge of the foreclosure process and relevant guidelines.

• Experience with LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform).

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

• Capability to make informed decisions and resolve issues efficiently.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.

• Proficient communication skills in writing, in person, and via telephone.

• Competence in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

• Ability to uphold strict confidentiality.
