Claims Advisor, Property and Casualty Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform investigations and inspections to evaluate damage, estimate costs and market value, and create and review reports and other documents to ascertain settlement amounts.

• Examine medical, financial, and employment information to determine eligibility for benefits based on statutory criteria.

• Resolve claims in compliance with the organization’s standards, policies, quality commitments, and the terms of contracts.

• Adhere to deadlines to guarantee client satisfaction and prevent penalties.

• Negotiate with all parties involved to facilitate a seamless claims process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college diploma in a relevant field is required.

• At least four years of pertinent experience is necessary.

• Advanced proficiency in French is essential.

• Advanced proficiency in English is needed due to the nature of the responsibilities or work tools, as well as interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients.
