• Assist Claims Adjusters with the intake, documentation, and processing of incidents related to transportation (e.g., accidents involving buses, student injuries, property damages).
• Gather, organize, and oversee pertinent documentation, including police and driver reports, medical records, student rosters, driver logs, and photographs.
• Receive and direct calls, emails, and correspondence; respond professionally to inquiries from internal and external parties (such as law firms, insurance companies, parents, and medical offices).
• Monitor and document adherence to transportation safety and reporting regulations.
• Keep electronic claim files accurate and current within the claims management system.
• Prepare and dispatch communications related to claims, including letters, reports, and summaries.
• Manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Provide general administrative support and assist with assigned special projects.
• Previous experience in Auto Claims is mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required (an Associate degree or higher is preferred).
• At least 3 years of administrative experience, ideally in insurance, logistics, or claims support.
• Familiarity with legal and transportation terminology/documents is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with claims management software is a plus but not essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
