Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate assigned claims based on the Terms & Conditions of each pet’s policy

• Examine medical records, laboratory results, invoices, and claims forms for a comprehensive assessment

• Execute claims decisions, including evaluation and payment for submitted claims

• Confirm claims coverage through thorough knowledge of policy Terms & Conditions

• Liaise with veterinary practices regarding the assessment of medical records and required documentation

• Sustain an average quality assurance score that exceeds departmental standards

• Complete designated tasks within compliance deadlines

• Maintain an average productivity rate above departmental benchmarks

• Offer insights on process improvements to enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a veterinary technician

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary science OR CVT or equivalent is preferred

• Property and Casualty Adjuster license in good standing is preferred

• Must complete and pass state adjuster licensing requirements

• Must demonstrate reliability and maintain good attendance

• Ability to work a minimum of 42 hours per week, including occasional weekends and extra hours as necessary
