Chaplain – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Acts as a messenger and representative of faith, mission, and purpose.

• Conducts regular visits to company worksites to engage with employees and foster relationships.

• Offers confidential pastoral conversations to address issues faced by employees and their immediate family members.

• May help plan, conduct, or attend funerals for employees or their immediate family members.

• Collaborates with companies to communicate notifications of death and serious injuries to families and other employees.

• Provides post-termination support for laid-off or terminated employees.

• Participates in new employee orientation to explain the Employee Care Service and the function of the Chaplain Team.

• Responds positively and proactively to additional duties and services requested by executive leadership.

• Skills to effectively listen and interact with clients, employees, and their families.

• Spiritual maturity and dedication to a Christian lifestyle along with MCHAP's Ministry values.

• Proven ability to engage professionally with diplomacy, patience, and courtesy across diverse groups.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and resolve problems.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or similar software.

• Must possess an active state driver’s license and meet state minimum auto insurance requirements.
