Category Development Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Analyzing Distribution, Placement, and Pricing data within the Category to provide insights and recommendations for Sales, ensuring the competitiveness of the Purina portfolio across various channels and customers.

• Assisting Key Account Managers by providing data analysis, insights, and recommendations in preparation for Category assortment reviews.

• Assessing the effectiveness of trade activities through pre and post-evaluations, summarizing insights, and offering recommendations.

• Developing merchandising guidelines.

• Engaging in the preparation and execution of Category development projects with Key customers.

• Participating in Customer meetings alongside Sales to present Category insights and development initiatives.

• Working collaboratively with the local cross-functional team (Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Business Controlling, Demand Planning, etc.).

• Strong analytical capabilities to extract valuable insights and derive meaningful, actionable conclusions.

• Advanced Excel skills and proven experience in handling large data sets.

• Practical experience in e-commerce.

• Excellent planning abilities and task prioritization skills.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to clearly convey insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proactive team player with quick learning capabilities.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in FMCG (Sales, trade, marketing, finance, or other retail experience is considered an advantage).
