This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assume temporary responsibility for mixed residential caseloads from the moment of instruction until file closure in the absence of the primary property lawyer.
• Advance files effectively, ensuring that deadlines, exchanges, and completions remain on schedule.
• Precisely update tasks and activities outside of our case management system.
• Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with the property lawyers you are assisting.
• Provide clear notes, updates, and recommendations to facilitate smooth transitions upon their return.
• Maintain proactive communication to keep customers, partners, and other conveyancers informed about case progress.
• Ensure complete compliance with all regulatory, legal, and internal policies throughout all conveyancing transactions.
• Address complex legal issues associated with property sales or purchases.
• Achieve KPIs that enhance client experiences.
• Foster a culture of shared responsibility and accountability, emphasizing that effective case coverage is crucial to team wellbeing and service quality.
• In the absence of active coverage needs, effectively assist with broader business requirements, which may include:
• - Supporting teams facing capacity challenges
• - Advancing aging cases or backlog work
• - Assisting with completions, exchanges, or critical deadlines
• - Contributing to quality assurance, file reviews, or process enhancements (where applicable)
• Engage in continuous improvement by offering constructive feedback on coverage procedures, handovers, and workflows in a solutions-oriented manner.
• Demonstrated experience in residential conveyancing with minimal daily supervision or at least 2+ years of post-qualified experience.
• Recent CPD including AML training.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong inclination towards digital tools and modern work methodologies.
• Experience and proficiency in sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Familiarity with freehold, leasehold, and new build property transactions.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads on short notice.

• Desire to enhance your conveyancing knowledge and skills.

• Salary - FTE £30k to £40k.
