This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Inspires and enables students and alumni to secure employment in their respective fields and embark on their healthcare careers.
• Oversees a group of graduates and aids them in finding roles within the Allied Healthcare sector.
• Collaborates with students and graduates to provide advice on interview strategies, workplace expectations, best practices for resumes, and more.
• Formulates and executes strategies to meet employment objectives for students and graduates.
• Connects graduates with job opportunities and maintains ongoing partnerships with companies to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepares for and leads graduate interviews with employers, including those associated with our national Corporate Alliance partners.
• Ensures timely, compliant, and precise documentation and metrics on all activities related to UMA graduates, employers, job orders, and interview outcomes up to and including graduate placements.
• Regularly meets or surpasses departmental metrics and targets, including talk time, interviews, hires, and the monthly goal of graduate placements.
• Reaches out to hiring managers to create new job openings, interviews, hires, and placements.
• Cultivates and expands both new and existing relationships within the healthcare sector to proactively identify future job opportunities for our graduates.
• Identifies, engages, and attracts potential healthcare companies to establish partnerships aimed at securing employment opportunities in the designated market, with a focus on building and sustaining long-term relationships that lead to placements for UMA graduates.
• Sources job opportunities using our proprietary lead management tool, which boasts over a million leads, in addition to cold calling, emailing, faxing, and utilizing social media to connect with decision-makers and hiring managers.
• Influences lead outcomes and communicates with hiring managers using a consultative, graduate-focused approach to fully understand their hiring needs.
• Ensures all documentation is completed in accordance with company, government, and accreditor standards.
• Demonstrates awareness of and strictly adheres to all relevant federal and state compliance requirements and regulations, including those set forth by the Department of Education, accrediting bodies, CIE, and internal UMA policies and procedures.
• Clearly communicates compliance requirements to students and other staff as necessary and promptly escalates any compliance issues to the Compliance department.
• Associate degree
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, energetic, and results-oriented call center environment
• Proven track record of success in previous positions
• Consistent employment history
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele
• Capable of multitasking and managing a high-pressure environment with time constraints
• Dedicated, self-motivated, with strong follow-up abilities
• Comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team
• Able to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication
• Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Skype and Microsoft Teams
