This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver comprehensive care to our client who has multiple sclerosis and diabetes, requiring additional support.
• Maintain a proactive presence during the night shift to ensure the client's safety and comfort.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor the client's health status.
• Assist with the proper operation and upkeep of the CPAP machine.
• Provide specialized care for the client's stoma and catheter.
• Support personal care activities, including toileting, bathing, and repositioning.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all care provided.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to any emergencies that may occur.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for the client.
• Communicate effectively with day shift caregivers.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Dedication to providing high-quality care for individuals with complex medical requirements.
• Willingness to work night shifts (from 21:00 to 09:00) and remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Physical ability to assist with personal care tasks and patient positioning.
• Strong attention to detail and a capacity to follow specific medical directives.
• Excellent communication skills for effective handovers and thorough record-keeping.
• Introductions and shadowing opportunities with all clients.
