Capital Markets Principal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses and develop financial models to support informed, data-driven decisions in capital markets, collecting inputs from various stakeholders.

• Design and oversee ongoing ABS-style reporting and audit schedules to maintain different types of financing relationships.

• Build and sustain relationships with external capital teams to ensure adherence to contractual requirements.

• Assist in negotiating and finalizing new capital commitments through private credit arrangements.

• Work collaboratively with the Risk, R&D, Strategic Finance, Accounting, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to assess and respond to the capital markets implications of new initiatives.

• Enhance operational efficiencies across all capital markets functions.

• Create presentations that clarify complex concepts and convey essential information to diverse audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years specifically in capital markets, corporate treasury, or investment banking.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Proficient in SQL, Advanced Excel, and financial modeling, with the capability to construct comprehensive financial models, analyze opportunities, and develop business cases for pursuit.

• Experience in creating and delivering reports for warehouse facilities, securitizations, or forward-flow programs.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a knack for engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
