Cancer Registrar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify cases that require reporting for abstracting entry in accordance with relevant cancer registry authorities.

• Abstract all analytic and non-analytic cases following the standards set by the Commission on Cancer.

• Conduct an annual follow-up review on all active patients.

• Engage with patients and their designated contacts in a confidential and professional manner.

• Uphold work records along with policies and procedures.

• Achieve the quality, performance, and production standards established by the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a health-related field.

• Bachelor's Degree with experience in Epic and Cancer Registry software.

• Certified Tumor Registrar from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA).

• In-depth understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
