Canada Regional Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver leadership in food safety, quality, and regulatory matters for a group of plants within a specific sub-region or hub.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the country and regional colleagues to establish alignment on strategies and processes.

• Cultivate and enhance the team's talent pipeline through succession planning, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and the recruitment process.

• Analyze, assess, and interpret external regulations along with customer and supplier standards.

• Develop and sustain leadership and essential stakeholder partnerships with cross-functional teams.

• Independently manage the resolution of highly complex issues.

• Assist in the development and promotion of new innovations, ongoing improvements, and process maintenance initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Background in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.

• At least four years of related professional experience.

• Minimum of two years of direct supervisory experience, including performance management.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• Must be legally authorized to work for Cargill in Canada.
