This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain connections between PAR systems and external platforms.
• Convert functional and technical requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Develop, test, and support integrations utilizing C#, .NET, and industry-standard technologies such as HL7, REST APIs, flat files, FTP, and TCP/IP.
• Create reusable components, templates, and tools to enhance integration efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability across all interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with project managers and implementation teams to deliver interfaces.
• Engage in interface design sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in interface testing, validation, and go-live activities.
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues during and after deployment.
• Guarantee a successful transition to support teams following stabilization.
• Offer advanced technical support for interface-related challenges.
• Monitor interface performance and proactively seek enhancements.
• Analyze root causes of issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Continuously improve integration processes, tools, and documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to establish integration requirements.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to best practices, standards, and architectural decisions.
• Extensive experience in interface/integration development within a healthcare IT setting.
• Proficient in C# / .NET and JavaScript development.
• Familiarity with integration standards such as HL7, APIs (REST/SOAP), FTP, and TCP/IP.
• Strong background in relational databases and SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures, data validation, performance analysis, troubleshooting).
• Experience in parsing, transforming, and validating structured data formats (e.g., HL7, JSON, XML, CSV).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in interface development, integration engineering, or a similar role.
• Prior experience in healthcare IT is highly preferred.
