This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more state.
• Drive revenue growth and meet annual sales objectives in Germany and Austria.
• Actively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
• Manage and enhance existing client relationships, ensuring sustainable partnerships.
• Establish and utilize a robust professional network within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Collaborate with internal teams across functions to provide customized client solutions.
• Create strategic account plans and implement go-to-market strategies.
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Keep precise records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development within the pharmaceutical field.
• Proven history in Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting and closing sales.
• Experience in managing both new business acquisitions and existing accounts.
• International experience and capability to navigate various business environments.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong social skills and networking capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented atmosphere.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• International commercial experience across different markets and cultures.
• Prior CDMO experience is highly desirable, especially in Clinical Supply Services, drug substance, or drug product services.
• A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its commercial dynamics.
