Billing Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Review invoices and billing statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.

• Detect discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in billing information and resolve them in a timely manner.

• Work in conjunction with billing, accounts receivable, and customer service teams to investigate and rectify billing issues.

• Keep thorough records of audit findings and corrective measures taken.

• Generate audit reports and summaries for management's review.

• Oversee billing processes to guarantee compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in creating and implementing billing audit procedures and best practices.

• Provide support for internal and external audits by supplying necessary documentation and explanations.

• Evaluate billing trends and patterns to identify potential fraud, overcharging, or underbilling.

• Propose improvements to enhance billing accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Ensure prompt follow-up on audit findings and monitor resolution progress.

• Validate billing data against contracts, service agreements, and purchase orders.

• Collaborate with IT or systems teams to resolve billing system issues or data discrepancies.

• Educate and assist billing staff on compliance standards and audit procedures.

• Remain updated on industry regulations, billing standards, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the BPO or Shared Service Industry supporting US accounts and processes.

• At least 3 years of experience in billing, auditing, or financial analysis.

• Strong grasp of billing systems, accounting principles, and audit methodologies.

• Proficient in MS Excel and knowledgeable in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP standards.

• Availability to work a fixed night shift.
