Big Data Developer, Hadoop/Spark/Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle: including architecture, design, development, and support of technological solutions.

• Engage actively in all scrum ceremonies and effectively implement SAFe best practices.

• Take on a crucial role within the development team to create high-quality, high-performance, and scalable code.

• Generate technical design documentation and lead technical walkthroughs.

• Document and illustrate solutions through technical design documents, diagrams, and stubbed code.

• Collaborate with business partners to comprehend and clarify requirements.

• Work efficiently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Design and develop state-of-the-art applications.

• Address and resolve production issues as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, and SQL.

• Practical experience in Java Spring Boot or .Net (Java is preferred).

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies in the Big Data domain.

• Familiarity with distributed NoSQL databases such as Elastic Search, Cassandra, or MongoDB is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Apache Airflow is a plus.

• Understanding of streaming systems is beneficial.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in developing solutions that incorporate relational database technologies on the SQL Server platform, including stored procedure programming using Transact SQL.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is mandatory.

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies is preferred.

• A Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is advantageous.

• Exceptional analytical and communication skills are crucial, along with strong verbal and written proficiency.
