This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to assist in identifying presenting issues, evaluating mental status and potential risks, collecting pertinent psychosocial history, and assigning precise diagnoses (utilizing all five Axes of the current DSM manual) to determine the most effective interventions for helping individuals and their families achieve their goals.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to clients of all ages by employing person-centered approaches and adhering to best practices in service delivery.

• Offer expertise in evaluating psychiatric emergencies and crisis intervention while collaborating closely with psychiatrists.

• Ensure the maintenance of essential medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Assist individuals and families in addressing other psychosocial needs by referring them to suitable external agencies (such as medical professionals, social services, and Christian Ministries) and providing necessary information within confidentiality guidelines.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to de-escalate crises and potential crisis situations, aiming to maintain the lowest level of care that ensures safety.

• Provide coverage or support for Emergency Services during clinical hours and on-call assistance after hours and on weekends as required.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board and participate in educational trainings/seminars to stay informed on current best practices.

• Foster positive working relationships within the communities served, including individuals, families, staff, monitoring and licensing entities, organizations, funding sources, and other human service agencies.

• Actively engage in the agency's ongoing continuous quality improvement efforts.

• Exhibit knowledge of and adhere to all agency policies and procedures.

• Provide clinical consultation as necessary or requested by other professionals within Monarch to support ongoing professional development and to navigate challenging client situations that may arise.

• Drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach sites as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Services (Required)

• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) - State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board

• Counseling/Therapy Experience | Not Required
