Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and uphold internal web applications that manage advertising campaigns, including configuration, monitoring, and automation.

• Implement jobs and processes to integrate various internal services.

• Contribute to the creation of internal Python libraries and shared frameworks.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and dependability.

• Identify issues and suggest enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and stability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and refine existing workflows.

• Apply best practices in application design, database management, and API development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend development utilizing Python.

• Familiarity with relational databases and capability to write efficient SQL queries (experience with PostgreSQL or BigQuery is advantageous).

• Understanding of conventions and best practices related to RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Experience with asynchronous programming.

• Solid understanding of system design principles (such as scalability, caching, and reliability) with a desire to expand knowledge further.

• Proven experience in writing and maintaining tests.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to overcoming technical challenges.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Proficiency in English.
