Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Implementing new features while maintaining existing code, focusing on a ratio of 70% new feature development to 30% maintenance.

• Designing and developing applications, ensuring code quality, and contributing to the overall system architecture.

• Adhering to best development practices and suggesting optimal solutions.

• Engaging in regular activities such as daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Backend Expertise — Strong proficiency in PHP, particularly with Laravel/Symfony frameworks.

• Testing & Database Skills — Extensive experience in unit testing, along with familiarity with relational databases, especially MySQL (MariaDB).

• NoSQL & Architecture — Practical experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, as well as knowledge of CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) and Event Sourcing.

• DevOps & Ecosystems — Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, orchestration using Kubernetes, message broker RabbitMQ, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab.

• API & Version Control — In-depth understanding of RESTful API principles and proficiency in version control with GIT.

• AI-First Mindset — Experience with AI-driven coding tools, preferably Claude Code, but Cursor is also acceptable.

• Architecture Knowledge — Solid understanding of microservices architecture.

• Soft Skills & Languages — A team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities, possessing a communicative level of Polish and English.
