AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS architectures for client projects.

• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive AWS cloud architectures for client initiatives.

• Collaborate remotely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to establish requirements.

• Assess and recommend AWS services, tools, and frameworks to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Create high-quality architectural deliverables, such as solution designs and technical documentation.

• Define and guide cloud migration strategies tailored to client needs.

• Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.

• Facilitate DevOps and CI/CD best practices.

• Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, and performance optimization initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to client and partner teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, software engineering, or distributed systems.

• More than 4 years in a hands-on AWS Solutions Architect position, delivering production AWS environments.

• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.

• Profound architectural expertise across AWS service domains, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, observability, containers, and serverless.

• Practical experience in designing and delivering containerized (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and serverless solutions.

• Strong understanding of AWS security and networking best practices, with experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven effectiveness as an independent contractor in a remote, client-facing setting.
