AWS AI/ML Developer – Mid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design and improve Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions centered on document processing and analysis;

• Construct and sustain automated data ingestion pipelines for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) based solutions;

• Prepare, organize, and convert documents for processing by language models (LLMs);

• Develop solutions utilizing cloud AI services, with an emphasis on Azure AI Services and Amazon Bedrock;

• Implement and refine semantic search systems, embeddings, and vector databases for intelligent information retrieval;

• Create, fine-tune, and advance prompts to enhance accuracy and the quality of responses generated by AI models;

• Integrate applications with Generative AI APIs, including those based on OpenAI and similar services;

• Engage in defining and executing scalable architectures for AI applications within cloud environments;

• Design and implement testing plans for functional and technical validation of developed solutions;

• Establish metrics and indicators to track performance, quality, and effectiveness of AI solutions;

• Generate technical and functional documentation for solutions implemented;

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into AI-driven solutions;

• Present findings, analyses, and solution developments to technical teams and business sectors;

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of practices, frameworks, and processes related to Generative AI and Machine Learning;

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a postgraduate degree in IT with at least 360 hours recognized by the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education);

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrable professional experience in technology-related roles;

• Experience with Generative AI solutions and the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs);

• Practical understanding of architectures and solutions based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);

• Experience in constructing automated data ingestion and processing pipelines for AI applications;

• Advanced knowledge of Azure, including services such as Azure OpenAI, AI Document Intelligence, and other AI functions;

• Familiarity with AWS, particularly Amazon Bedrock;

• Experience in integrating with chat APIs and language models;

• Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search systems;

• Experience in cloud solution architecture for AI applications;

• Proficient knowledge of Python for developing and integrating scalable solutions;

• Experience in managing and processing large datasets;

• Familiarity with code versioning using Git;

• Capability to document technical solutions and present results to varied audiences;

• Preferred: Experience in document analysis projects utilizing Generative AI; knowledge of advanced prompt engineering techniques; experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or similar; experience with observability and monitoring of AI applications; knowledge in the evaluation and optimization of quality metrics for AI models; experience with hybrid information retrieval solutions (semantic search and traditional search); certifications in Azure, AWS, or fields related to Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing;
