This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create well-designed data solutions in collaboration with data platform engineers, data governance, data science, and data analytics/visualization colleagues.

• Collaborate with business teams to develop data solutions while having the capacity to mentor junior data engineers.

• Oversee the construction and deployment of data pipelines.

• Guarantee the reliability, scalability, and governance of data pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• In-depth understanding of ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and Cloud (preferably AWS) data operations, along with experience in data integration platforms (Foundry preferred).

• Domain expertise in Actuarial, Investment, and Finance within the Insurance/Reinsurance sector.

• At least seven years of progressive experience in a data engineering role, with a minimum of five years in programming (Python) and SQL.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data lakes, data governance, and contemporary data quality practices.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
