Automation Framework Engineer – Architect Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable **UI automation frameworks** (primarily using Playwright, with Selenium as a legacy option)

• Integrate automation tools into **Azure DevOps** (including pipelines, test plans, and traceability)

• Create **AI-driven testing solutions** utilizing:

• Azure OpenAI (for test generation and regression optimization)

• Azure Document Intelligence (for OCR and document validation)

• Claude + Azure DevOps (for test creation, pipeline execution, reporting, and script maintenance)

• Develop reusable **API testing frameworks** (using Postman, GraphQL, and PactumJS)

• Facilitate **CI/CD orchestration**, reporting, and insights on quality

• Execute **logging, observability, and failure analytics**

• Assist with **document-heavy workflows** (including compliance, disclosures, and OCR validation)

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in **TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#**

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing **automation frameworks at scale**

• Practical experience with **Playwright** and/or **Selenium**

• In-depth knowledge of **AI-driven testing strategies**

• Strong background in **CI/CD pipelines**, particularly within **Azure DevOps**

• Experience with **distributed systems and integrations**

• Ability to think at an architect level: defining strategies rather than merely implementing solutions

• **Nice to Have**

• Experience in **Mortgage, FinTech, or highly regulated industries**

• Familiarity with **document processing, OCR, or compliance workflows**

• Experience in integrating **LLMs into engineering or QA processes**
