Auditor, SOC2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop audit strategies and documentation based on inquiries related to controls and processes.

• Conduct video conferencing sessions with clients, ensuring the camera is on, to carry out on-screen walkthroughs during US hours for evidence collection and work paper creation.

• Evaluate and approve testing outcomes provided by testers.

• Assist the audit manager with client matters in their absence.

• Oversee a portfolio of more than 20 startup clients.

• Proactively address and escalate client issues and concerns to leadership for resolution.

• Produce 10 to 15 reports per month, maintaining consistent closure timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in IT audits, security assessments, or compliance (internships or projects are acceptable).

• Fundamental understanding of information security principles and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR preferred).

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to juggle multiple projects.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with global clients.

• A strong desire to learn and advance in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related discipline.
